Hitachi EMIEW2 can hear you
June 18, 2010 - Tokyo, Japan - Japanese electronics giant Hitachi unveils a new version of the humanoid robot 'EMIEW2' that can converse while easily scooting around people on broken ground and can recognize and process human voices, in Tokyo, Japan, on June 18, 2010. Standing 80 centimetres tall and weighing just 14 kilogram, EMIEW2 was developed as part of Hitachi's efforts to create a service robot with diverse communication functions that could safely coexist with humans while conducting necessary services.
