Japanese theater chain TOHO Cinemas opens a 12 screen new cinema complex in Kabukicho, Shinjuku on April 17th, 2015, Tokyo, Japan. The new complex will provide 2300 seats, extra large screens and the latest IMAX digital theater technology. Located in Kabukicho, a traditional entertainment and red light district, the complex is part of a move to clean up the area. On the rooftop of the complex is a life-size head of Godzilla, which lights up at night and can also be seen from the windows of the new Hotel Gracery Shinjuku built next door.
