November 30, 2011, Tokyo, Japan - Takanobu Ito, president of Honda, poses for photographers beside its first plug-in hybrid, AC-X, during a press preview of the Tokyo Motor Show on Wednesday, November 30, 2011...The Tokyo Motor Show opened to the press Wednesday as Japanese automakers unveiled a bevy of electric cars and other green vehicles at a much smaller venue in central Tokyo, to which the show moved from the nations largest exhibition hall in neighboring Chiba prefecture after 24 years. A total of 176 brands from 13 countries and regions participated in the show. The number of foreign automakers has increased to 24 from previous nine. Out of 398 models, 52 will be shown for the very first time. An estimated 800,000 visitors are expected to attend the week-long exhibition, compared with 1.5 million in 2005, according to the organizers.(Photo by Natsuki Sakai/AFLO)  -mis-.
