December 20, 2012, Tokyo, Japan - The Robot Restaurant show of electric lights, tanks and giant robots controlled by bikini clad women is held twice a day in Kabukicho, Shinjuku one of the most famous entertainment districts in Tokyo. The 4000 Yen entrance fee covers the food, one drink, service charge and the show itself. The show introduced the giant new King Robota with three mad professors to control it and the already famous giant female robots controlled by the performers. The bizarre current show includes taiko drums, a traditional festival float, Gangnam Style dancing, bikes, Segways, a tank, a plane and a marching band. Audience members are given light sticks to wave as the performers dance and fly around the room above them. The crazy show is gaining in popularity in Japan and worldwide and has featured on Japanese TV and in some guidebooks. During the set changes the audience can shoot pictures with the robots and have a chance to ride on some of them too. Built at a cost of 10 Billion Yen (around USD 127 million), the Robot Restaurant opened in Kabukicho on July 18, 2012, and now attracts customers from all over the world.
